* generate: use /dev/urandom directlyJason A. Donenfeld2016-12-201-6/+20
| | | | | | Passing to tr using the "pick and discard" technique is more straight- forwardly correct and less error-prone. It also allows users to select their own character sets to be passed to tr.

* generate: have a default length of 25Jason A. Donenfeld2016-02-051-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Folks are lazy and don't want to type very much, so they'd like to have a default password length to generate that can be configured via environment variables per usual. I'm making the default 25. If the user forbids the use of symbols, pwgen will use a-zA-Z0-9, ensuring that at least one A-Z and at least one 0-9 is used. We want to have a password of at least 128-bits, so factoring in the issue with "at least one of this character type", 25 gets us there squarely. Signed-off-by: Jason A. Donenfeld <Jason@zx2c4.com>

* Team pass: enable multiple keys and per directoryJason A. Donenfeld2014-03-191-6/+12
| | | | | | | | | | The .gpg-id file may now have multiple keys in it, one per line. If a .gpg-id file exists inside a subdirectory, passwords inside that directory are encrypted to that/those ids. The init command has learned a -p/--path option for writing such a sub directory .gpg-id and now can take several arguments for ids.

* Use PASSWORD_STORE_DIR environment variable if it is set.Jason A. Donenfeld2012-09-121-3/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A user made this request: I was wondering whether it is in a planning to have multiple password-store directory trees or possible to achieve? eg. $HOME/.pwd-store-work and $HOME/.pwd-store-home. Maybe distinguish them with a command line switch and then create aliases in .bash_aliases? Why I'm asking is that I have multiple major password categories - personal, work etc. It'll be nice to keep them separate and under different repos. Reported-by: Simon KP <si@eskp.net>
